Monadnock Fine Art Gallery has moved to its new space at Anthony Toepfer Jewelers, 50 Central Square, Keene, NH. The website remains current with all of the artists paintings and availability. When you are ready to start collecting original art, you may ask, “Where should I start”, “Which artist should I be looking for”? Or maybe you have bought some paintings from “up and coming” artists yet to be recognized and want to move on to more established artists. Perhaps you are a more experienced collector who has fallen in love with a painting but wondered whether it was worth the “high” price. This is when an art consultant can assist you; my advice helps you learn about, select and buy artwork. The services I offer include educating you about trends in the art world, introducing you to artists, and giving advice about hanging and lighting paintings.Some of you buy art because “it speaks to you” and you love it; some buy it for investment reasons. Art is very personal. An art consultant can guide you through a variety of works and help you discover which styles, media and subject matter are of interest, but you make the final decision. House calls are part of the service of Monadnock Fine Art Gallery, whereby you may see paintings hung in your own home. It is key for you to develop a good feeling about the paintings you acquire; they should be seen in the best environment including proper lighting.I will be having one or two-person openings for the artists and invite you to come and support the talented artists who are right here in the Monadnock Region. I have educated people from near and far and patrons have found that original art is truly a wonderful investment, one you can enjoy for a lifetime.
