Daniel Thibeault is a New Hampshire
native who is widely recognized throughout the area for his
artistic and entrepreneurial skills. He began painting at the age
of twelve and after high school enrolled in a commercial art school in
Boston. To earn money for school, he worked as a chef. Returning to the Monadnock Region, he continued to work as a chef .... eventually he and his wife opened their own catering business while he continued to try and find time to paint. The long hours that he was working each day made it difficult. After five years, however, they sold the business and Dan became a full time artist. Dan paints almost every day. His style tends toward Impressionism but he was told by a classically trained artist and friend that he is actually an Expressionist. His work hangs in galleries in New England and is collected by many for his scenes of Vermont, New Hampshire and Italy, one of Dan's favorite destinations.
