Gill Truslow is a professional artist who creates her pastel still life and landscapes either working plein air or in her studio in Keene, NH. She enjoys soft pastels for their richness of color, their buttery, tactile quality and the ability to build up layers of color and texture to create vibrant, atmospheric paintings. 

She is drawn to the play of light on the land, reflections on water and the luminous changes of sky and clouds. Her desire is to hold on to the beauty of a particular time and place by immersing herself in it again through the process of painting. 

Gill has exhibited her work throughout southern New Hampshire and Vermont and has received several awards in juried exhibits. She is a member of the New Hampshire and Vermont Pastel Societies, and the Monadnock Area Artists Association.
